Convention 2016 was a great success

PNER’s annual convention took place January 28 - 31, 2016, at Embassy Suites in Portland Oregon.  Attendees enjoyed the bustling trade show and plenty of social time in between educational presentations.  The used tack sale, used saddle sale, and raffle raised money for PNER while participants came away with some great deals.  PNER business was conducted throughout the weekend as various committees meet, the general meeting was held, and the 2016 Board of Directors convened.  The event culminated with an awards banquet on Saturday night, where bespangled PNER members, leaders, and volunteers were recognized for their (and their horses!) accomplishments and contributions. Many thanks to our keynote speakers, Dr. Susan Garling house and Robin Ryner, for sharing their knowledge with convention attendees.  Lee Pierce, Susan Summers, and Heather Wimer also gave fantastic presentations.  We also thank the many volunteers who managed the consignments and raffle, and all the vendors who made the trade show such a hit.  Convention couldn’t happen without you.PNER leadership works hard to make Convention happen, and they did a fantastic job.  One of the best ways to thank them is by putting next year’s convention on your calendar.  Save the date for January
