Welcome to Pacific Northwest Endurance Rides

If you enjoy riding your horse in some of the most beautiful and remote areas of the Northwest, then PNER and endurance riding may just be the sport for you!  All of the rides have beautiful and varied scenery, with all levels of difficulty. The Endurance motto is, “To Finish is to Win.” It’s you and your horse against the trail of the day.

PNER is a regional division of the national Endurance riding organization, AERC.  PNER was formed in 1973 by endurance ride managers in Washington, Oregon and Idaho, and later expanded to include western Montana (west of the Continental Divide) and British Columbia.  Our membership continues to grow due to the increased interest in the sport of Endurance.  We are very fortunate here in the Northwest to have many dedicated ride managers and experienced endurance vets, who work very hard to make the ride experience fun and safe for both riders and horses.

If you are new to Endurance riding, please check out our Education and Mentor pages, as well as our Rides page and see if there is a ride that you would like to attend to see what all of the excitement is about!!!

        See you on the trail!

        ANNOUNCEMENTS AND REMINDERS

RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP prior to Convention, please and thank you
        Quoting PNER Prez Kathleen Ferguson:
"It makes a big difference in the workload placed on our volunteers when our members renew early. The best case scenario for PNER would be to have everyone renew before the Convention! This would make registration at Convention go faster and more smoothly; as well as making it easier to estimate the number of handbooks that need to be printed and makes the job of the Membership secretary much less time consuming. To avoid the additional $5 charge simply renew your membership prior to the February 15thdeadline or better yet renew prior to Convention in January!"

Please Pardon our Dust - Aug 2015

We hope that ride results/standings are not being posted on PNER website (  Apologies: it is taking more time than web minions have to figure out how to do this easily!) . Please visit http://www.aerc.org  and see your PNER Family News for ride results and standings for now.
        -----

The PNER website will be undergoing some reconstruction after our PNER Convention held Jan 30-Feb 1 2015. Feel free to let us know what may be working, not working, requests, or ideas you have for the site. For now please email Web Minion Eileen

This reconstruction will NOT affect the Ride list but hopefully will fix the Ride Map.

One very exciting thing that happened at the convention is that we now have a crackerjack website content management team so that David Lewis' dream has been realized (that he does not have to manage the content and can instead concentrate on programming). We will be rolling out the team and announcing the changes to membership and the website very soon!  Thank you!
